Club Ice Hockey at Indiana University

The Club Ice Hockey Team at Indiana University plays in the American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA) Division II.  The Hoosiers moved up to Division I after the 2008-2009 season. After four years in the ACHA’s top division, the Hoosiers rejoined the Great Midwest Hockey League (GMHL) in the 2014-2105 season to once again compete at the Division II level. In 2019, the team finished 13th in the Central Region, only one spot out of Regionals, and decided to move to the Southeast Region where it would play teams closer to home. The Hoosiers joined the Tri-State Collegiate Hockey League (TSCHL) where it faces teams from Indiana, Kentucky, and Ohio. In their first season in the TSCHL, the team finished the regular season 16-10, good enough for 3rd place in the league and 13th in the Southeast Region.  The team’s schedule consists of approximately 30 games, including between 14 and 16 conference games against league members. Non-conference games are scheduled against other Division I and Division II schools. Each season culminates in the TSCHL league tournament, Divison II regionals and the ACHA national tournament.
