2021-2022 Schedule Release —
Who’s excited for this year? The Hoosiers have just released their regular season schedule for the upcoming 2021-2022 season, and everyone is hyped up.
The regular season features 13 home games and 11 away games. It all starts with a road trip to Bradley University in the Hoosiers first of 13 two-game series’. Here are some of the enticing matchups:
9/24-9/25 at Bradley University – The Hoosiers are on the road for their first game of the year playing in Peoria, IL against the Bradley Braves. The two split their series in 2019-2020 with the Hoosiers winning the 1st game 6-1 and losing the 2nd 3-4 in OT.
10/22-10/23 vs Ohio State University – The Buckeyes travel to Bloomington for their first matchup since knocking out the Hoosiers in the semifinals of 2020 TSCHL league playoffs. The tough fought 2-1 loss occurred on February 22nd and was the last time the team took the ice for a game.
11/19-11/20 vs University of Kentucky – Kentucky comes to Bloomington for a series that is always exciting. The Hoosiers are 3-1 in their last four meetings. The teams split their last series down in Lexington and both look to regain bragging rights in their long-storied rivalry.
1/21-1/22 at University of Michigan – One of the team’s greatest weekends of play during their last season consisted of a sweep of the Wolverines. The series was ended by an Everhett “RL” Grimes OT winner in his last game as a Hoosier on December 7th, 2019. The team looks to continue their streak of wins in a trip to Ann Arbor where they will play at the famous Yost Ice Arena.
2/11-2/12 vs Denison University – Senior weekend for the Hoosiers is a matchup against Denison and concludes the regular season for the team. They’ll be looking bolster their resume with the final regional rankings coming out in the following two weeks.
2/18-2/20 – TSCHL Playoffs
3/4-3/6 – Regionals
